The Bethesda Foundation's mission locations are chosen with intention and purpose, focusing on Colombia, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and the United States as a strategic starting point. Our approach is guided by the principle of "Reaching Our Jerusalem", which we believe applies to all of our missions. For us, a person’s Jerusalem is their home country, and our goal is to empower members of our congregation to reach the communities they are connected to, no matter where they are in the world.
The strategic and theological reasons for this focus are outlined by our key principles:
• Sharing the Full Apostolic Gospel: While the gospel may have reached these nations, there are millions who have not yet heard or received the full message, which we believe includes repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. Our purpose is to teach this truth and help people experience it for themselves.
• A Focus on Discipleship and Holy Living: Preaching the gospel is only the first step. True transformation requires an ongoing commitment to living a holy life. Our ministry is dedicated to building strong, supportive communities that mentor and equip believers for long-term growth.
• Building a Strong Foundation for Global Reach: We believe it is strategic to build stable and well-trained ministries in these countries. By establishing a solid foundation here, we can create a powerful launchpad for future missionary efforts into new and unreached territories.
